News
The TFT was approved by the AKC in 2003 and appeared in the Westminster Dog Show in New York City in February 2004 for the first time. You can also see us currently represented in shows throughout the country.
Who We Are
The ATFTC is a wonderful organization filled with devoted and loving people who adore their TFTs. We have members in most all states and a diligent Board of Directors who are constantly fighting for the rights and protection of our beloved breed. We offer a quarterly newsletter to all members which is filled with interesting facts and information pertaining to the TFT, as well as the opportunity to talk with TFT families in a daily chat session. And we have a lot of fun together!
Adopting a friend
Please go to our website at ATFTC.com and fill out an adoption application. We ask for a $150 donation into our rescue fund that goes directly to help needy and neglected TFTs throughout the U.S. We pay for vet care, surgery, adoption/rescue from kill shelters, etc. We can also use all the help we can get if you would like to donate your time and efforts into our state representative rescue program or foster program. We can also use help with transportation.
